You are invited to join Art Barn School of Art instructor and Art Within Reach alumna Leslie Cefali at the Portage Branch for a 6-week class designed for ages 65 and older.

Learn about a Master Artist and create a masterpiece of your own to take home! This month we will be learning about Japanese koi fish in art and recreating a Michael Creese original using watercolor and colored wax.

An interactive monthly program geared towards children 5+. In honor of National Library Week, we will take a behind the scenes tour of the library followed by a simple bookmark craft. Registration is requested but not required.

Dive into a world of color and create your own abstract lavender masterpiece. We will experiment with some unexpected materials to bring your painting to life.  All supplies and snacks will be provided.  Registration is required.

Join us in learning how to paint with watercolor in a relaxing, low pressure space.  

This month we'll be painting a cute botanical dinosaur using wet on dry and graded washes.

Make a book nook to display on your bookshelf at home! Skills we will be learning: origami and similar paper crafting art, a brief intro into air-dry clay, and measuring.

Join us for a fun, creative journey into the stars! In this program, tweens and teens will learn about constellations and create their own constellation-inspired wall art.

Join us in celebrating our Valparaiso Community School artists at the Valparaiso Branch including a gallery walk, snacks, crafts, and more!

Join us as we dive into the fascinating world of 3D art, exploring the principles of the Rule of Thirds and the expressive beauty of watercolor techniques

Join us as we read a story about ballet, learn some basic ballet movements & make a fun craft! For ages 4-9.

Come in and paint fowl painting while enjoying some soda or coffee! This program is ran akin to Bob Ross's "The Joy of Painting." For ages 16+ 

Learn about a master artist and create a masterpiece to take home!

We will be learning about the famous artist Gustav Klimt using a scratch-paper technique to create a "golden cat" art piece.

Workshop Class to learn the basics of crochet.  Workshop is designed for those with little or no experience with crochet. Please bring yarn and hook if you are able.
