Join us for a Storytime geared towards preschoolers. After each story, we will use simple painting techniques to practice literacy skills.  Be prepared to get messy!

Come in and paint a lazy rabbit while enjoying some soda or coffee! This program is ran akin to Bob Ross's "The Joy of Painting." For ages 16+ 

Get in the mood for Fall with a fun pop art cat painting.  We will be exploring mid century atomic art styles through color and design.  All supplies & snacks are provided. Registration is required.  Ages 18+

We will be learning about the famous artist, Pablo Picasso and his Blue Guitar paintings! Art supplies are provided and participants will be creating an art piece to take home!

Join us in learning how to paint with watercolor in a relaxing, low pressure space.  

We'll be painting a cat in a pumpkin using a drawn base, small details and wet on dry techniques.

Adults and teens who have beginners level sewing machine skills are welcome to join us for a sewing project and tutorial. Use one of the library's sewing machines or bring your own to make your project.

Children will decorate a foam pumpkin to represent a favorite book character We will provide paint, feathers, construction paper, felt and much more. Get ready to get messy! Registration is required. 

Grab your friends and join us for a fun-filled evening of pumpkin painting! We will be providing one small pumpkin per person to paint. Tweens and Teens are welcome to bring a larger pumpkin to paint as well!

We supply the Barbie Dolls & paint...all you need to bring is your creativity and something to bring your zombified doll home in! Be prepared to get messy.

Join us for a Fall themed canvas painting program for Toddlers ages 2-4!

Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Did you know the library has sewing machines available for checkout? In Sewing 101, you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine, and complete a simple sewing project.

Adults and teens who have beginners level sewing machine skills are welcome to join us for a sewing project and tutorial. Use one of the library's sewing machines or bring your own to make your project. For this event we will be making tote bags.

Using plexiglass and tissue paper, we will show you how to create a stained glass art piece of your favorite literary animal characters!

Registration is required.

Learn about the famous folk artist, Maud Lewis and her folk art landscape paintings! Art supplies are provided and participants will be creating an art piece to take home!

For Ages 7 & Up

Join us and create a colorful landscape, learning about different techniques to create the natural elements as we explore a new way of "painting" with yarn. For tweens and teens ages 10-17.
