Join us for Falling Into the Holidays storytime! This fun program is geared to Preschoolers (2-5). We will read stories, sing songs, create a craft and do other fun activities related to the theme. Registration is required  

Attention Toddlers ages 2-4! Join us for a play group at the Library. We will have multiple stations of different toys for an open play experience! Registration is required.

Join our A Likely Story book club for grades 6th thru 8th! This month’s book is “Goldfish: A Novel” by Nat Luurtsema. Follow Tess as she drives into the world of competitive swimming while balancing school and friendships.

This week’s challenge is to build a Lego creation and see if it can stay balanced. How steady can your creation be? All supplies are included—registration is required.

Fans of Jory John's Bad Seed will enjoy creating a colorful seed mosaic craft, seed trivia, and of course reading a few of the Bad Seed books. Registration is required. 

Monthly Board of Director's meeting

Join us in the Teen Corner of the Valparaiso Branch to discuss Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin and make a craft to go along with the book! 

Snacks provided! Walk-ins welcome! 

Join us and create a colorful landscape, learning about different techniques to create the natural elements as we explore a new way of "painting" with yarn. For tweens and teens ages 10-17. 

Turn pinecones into animals with a touch of paint, some felt, and a bit of glue. Kids ages 5-12 are welcome to participate. 

Come build with Legos we provide! 

It's the Great Turkey Escape! The "turkeys" have flown the coop! Your challenge is to build a contraption to either catch them or release them before dinner! 

Ages 4 & up

Love plants? Love art? Combine the two with our Teen Plant Party. Decorate a pot and plant a baby plant to take home and grow. All Supplies Provided. 

Come in and paint an autumnal aspen painting while enjoying some soda or coffee! This program is ran akin to Bob Ross's "The Joy of Painting." For ages 16+ 

Come meet and hang out with your fellow otaku! For seasoned anime fans and newbies alike - We'll watch a different anime each month, do fun stuff, and eat snacks! 

Painting is easier than you think! Create your own unique work of art, on an 8"x10" canvas, in acrylic. This class is free - Just bring yourself and your creativity! Coffee provided. This class is intended for adults and teens.

An evening Storytime geared towards children ages 2-6 and their families. Registration is available but is not required.
