Getting a library card has never been easier!

Anyone living in or attending school in Porter County qualifies for a library card through the Porter County Public Library Card – and it’s free!

To Register Online
  1. Visit the Evergreen Indiana site, where you can provide your information in the card registration form.
  2. Bring your photo ID with your current address to the PCPLS branch you selected when registering for your card.
  3. Pick up your card at the circulation desk!

Please note:
-You will not receive a card number until you come into your branch to pick up your physical card.
-If this pre-registration is for a minor, the sponsoring adult must be present to provide ID and proof of residency, and pick up the library card. The sponsoring adult will be held responsible for all fees associated with the minor’s borrowing.
