An interactive monthly program geared towards children 5+. In honor of National Library Week, we will take a behind the scenes tour of the library followed by a simple bookmark craft. Registration is requested but not required.

Enjoy of a fun time of LEGO building.  This LEGO club challenge will be to build something earth or recycling related.  Ages 5+

This month in Emerging Readers, we’re reading “Vivi Loves Science: Wind and Water” by Kimberly Derting.

Learn about a Master Artist and create a masterpiece of your own to take home! This month we will be learning about Japanese koi fish in art and recreating a Michael Creese original using watercolor and colored wax.

Join us for the Monster Creation Challenge! Each team member will build half of a monster on a base plate. Once everyone is done, we’ll put the halves together to create one unique monster. Come and have fun working together!

Dive into a world of color and create your own abstract lavender masterpiece. We will experiment with some unexpected materials to bring your painting to life.  All supplies and snacks will be provided.  Registration is required.

Make a book nook to display on your bookshelf at home! Skills we will be learning: origami and similar paper crafting art, a brief intro into air-dry clay, and measuring.

Build Lego with us and we will put them on display! Just bring your creativity and smiles! Ages 5-12 

Join us for a fun, creative journey into the stars! In this program, tweens and teens will learn about constellations and create their own constellation-inspired wall art.

This month we'll be painting a cute botanical dinosaur using wet on dry and graded washes.

Come read a different book every month! This month is "The Art Thief" by Michael Finkel. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't! Let a librarian know if you need help reserving the book.
